On the 24th of June 2009 the Mayor of Aspropyrgos where organized a special ceremony in honor of those enterprises that, conscious of the environmental and social challenges of our times, have readily responded to the Town’s invitation for cooperation and actions in the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Halyps cement was one of the enterprises activating in the area which has been awarded for its CSR policy and support to local Community.

Mr. Doumenc, our Managing Director recieved the award stating that economic growth, profit, social concerns and care for the environment are not conflicting concepts. All Italcementi Group activities in Greece, Halyps Cement, Halyps Quarries, Et Beton, are committed to  implement our group Corporate Social Responsibility principles and values in their daily activities.

Halyps cement will remain on the side of the Local Community through its SD policy and initiatives.
